Dr. Yongchun Tang, Chairman and CEO. Led Chevron's molecular modeling team during 11-year career. Joined Caltech in 1999 as director for the PEER center. Dr. Tang pioneered molecular modeling technology for O&G applications and has more than 20 years of working experience in EOR chemicals. production chemicals, and stimulation fluids. Dr. Tang has published more than 100 papers and has many patents in the O&G industry.
Dr Stefan Iglauer got his PhD from Oxford Brooks. He did many years of work for water treatment and polymer development. Stefan joined SGTC in 1999 and worked for many areas of R&D, including biotreatment, polymer for water flocculation, and soil remediation for Southern California gas station.
Dr. Patrick Shuler, Senior Vice President. World renowned petroleum engineer in Enhanced Oil Recovery via injection of chemical formulations into oil reservoirs. He was involved in directing the field implementation of chemical flooding projects for Chevron in the 1980's. Before joining ChemEOR, Dr. Shuler was manager for the PEER Institute at Caltech.
Dr. Wenjie Xia joined our company in 2011. Currently he is director for soil remediation, solid waste treatment, and etc. Dr. Xia involved number of large projects related to bioremediation, biosurfactant and biodegradation for hydrocarbon fluids. Dr. Xia graduated from Yangtze University and PhD from Chinese Academy of Science.
Dr. John Ma, Vice President, International Dr. Ma joined SGTC in 2002 as a co-founder, where he directs product commercialization and marketing. Mr. Ma served various technical and managerial roles at SGTC. Dr. Ma graduated from Tsinghua University and Ph.D from Leigh University.
Kirsten Nyhus, General Manager, Canada. As GM of Canada, she has spearheaded bringing SGTC technology into the Canadian market. After graduating from the University of British Columbia, Mrs. Nyhus launched her career with Univar Canada Ltd. Mrs. Nyhus worked over 18 years at Univar Canada, with seven years managing the OFS Division.
